Common Carpet Questions
How long does carpet installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. A whole-house install, or one that needs subfloor repair first, runs to two. We confirm the schedule when we quote, so you know before we start.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes. Moving and replacing normal household furniture is part of the job. Let us know in advance about anything unusually heavy — a piano, a full-size gun safe — so we can plan for it.
Do you remove and dispose of the old carpet?
We do, and it is itemised on the quote rather than turning up as a surprise line at the end.
What kind of pad should I use?
The pad matters more than most people expect — it drives how the carpet feels and how long it lasts. We recommend one based on the room, the traffic and the carpet you have chosen, and we will explain the trade-off rather than just quoting the cheapest option.
